Finca La Fe is not like any other hotel. Here, travellers enjoy an experience as close to nature as possible, while helping to preserve the beauty of the landscape.
Renewable energy
The resources consumed during the visitors‘ stay are 100% renewable: solar panels produce the lodges’ electricity, water comes from a mountain spring located 2 km from the site, and heating for the sanitary water and the salamander in winter is done with firewood collected in the surroundings. Homemade bread and meals are prepared in a clay oven and on the grill
Travellers will be surprised to discover that resilience can also mean well-being and comfort: enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub, in contact with pure spring water.
Reduced footprint
We avoid buying and using plastic and prefer to use returnable packaging on a daily basis: whether for hygiene products, serving water or storing food.
During their stay, travellers are encouraged not to use plastic : all meals and picnics are prepared on site. Instead of soft drinks and industrial products, lemonade and homemade cakes are offered.
if we take nature as our guide, we will never go wrong

biocontruction
The lodges have been designed to blend harmoniously into the landscape.
Log was chosen as the main material for its thermal insulation, durability and natural aesthetics.
The furniture is made of massive wood, using logs collected in the forest. The bathrooms, the ecological jacuzzi and the paths were paved with river stones.
The rooms were built with biomaterials available on site: adobe, stone and bamboo.
supply chain
Most of the consumables are bought directly from the local criollo community: fruit and vegetables come from small neighbouring producers, meat from gaucho herds, cheese from a goat farmer in Santa Clara and honey from a beekeeper in El Fuerte.
The menus are prepared according to the seasons and the products available. At the table, travellers discover the flavour of fresh products from Las Yungas, cooked every day over a wood fire.
Support the Criollo community
The inhabitants of the surrounding villages live from ancestral work.
We want them to participate fully in the life of Finca La Fé and promote their know-how.
The local craftsmen were involved in the building site and in the manufacture of the furniture. During their stay, the gauchos of the finca are happy to show travellers their way of life and their knowledge of the jungle.
Today, our activities generate direct economic benefits for several families in the village.
preserve the primary forest
The Yungas jungle is dense and humid, with abundant vegetation all year round. It is one of the last native forests in Argentina. The finca is home to many emblematic species: guayacán, quebracho, pink cedar, laurel, walnut, etc. Some trees are several hundred years old.
Finca La Fé donates 5% of its profits to a reforestation project, restoring native tree species that have almost disappeared from the area due to deforestation.
respect wildlife
The finca is home to numerous animal species, some of which are in danger of extinction and are only found in the Yungas: tapir, collared peccary, guan, etc.
During the excursions, the guide teaches travellers how to recognise animal tracks and shares his knowledge of the biodiversity of Las Yungas.
