This ride takes you through the trees of the piedmont forest. Suitable for beginners and children from 7 years old.

Río Colorado Ride

On horseback, you'll ride through the diverse landscapes of the finca: citrus groves, free-range cattle, piedmont jungle, all the way to a prehistoric site left by Argentina's first inhabitants. You'll stop for a picnic in the jungle. If the weather allows, you can swim in the river. Suitable for beginners and children from 10 years old.

Camino Viejo Ride

You'll venture into the jungle trails, winding through lianas and the immense trees of the Yungas. For over 4 hours, you'll follow an ancestral gaucho path called the Camino Viejo. You'll reach a viewpoint where you can enjoy your picnic with a panoramic view of the mountains. Due to the elevation change and density of vegetation, this more adventurous route is suited to experienced riders.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need riding experience?

The Río Colorado route requires no previous experience and is suitable for beginners, from age 10 and up to 85 kg. The ground is flat, and the guide adapts to the group's pace.

How do you care for the horses?

The welfare of the horses matters greatly to our team. Each horse goes out only once a day, in small groups, and is released immediately after the ride.

What if it rains?

In the rainy season (November to March), rain usually falls at the end of the day. The ride starts earlier so you are back before it. On a rainy day, times and routes are adjusted to make the most of a clear spell.

What should I wear?

Long trousers, long sleeves, a hat or cap (very important, the sun is strong), closed shoes, a raincoat in case of rain and insect repellent.

What are the ride times?

The 1-hour ride can be done between 14:00 and 16:00. Rides of 3 hours or more start from 10:00. The exact departure time is agreed on arrival.
