We do not serve lunch, and it is not possible to arrive before check-in time.
Guided excursions start from 9:30 am. The exact time is agreed on arrival.

How can I get here without my own vehicle?
There is no public transport in the area, and Uber does not reach us for the time being. We recommend renting a vehicle at the airport, or we can put you in touch with a local driver.
The nearest bus terminal is in San Pedro de Jujuy, 40 minutes away.
Do you welcome children?
Children are welcome under their parents' responsibility. Trekking activities are suitable for them and the guide adapts to their pace. Horse rides are open to children from 10 years old.
Do you welcome pets?
We love animals, but the site is unfortunately not suitable for pets. They may run into wildlife or the unfriendly dogs of the neighbouring gauchos.
Are the excursions suitable for older guests and people with a physical disability?
Because of the steep terrain and the remoteness of the site, walking and horse-riding excursions are not suitable for elderly guests or people with a physical disability. We reserve the right to refuse access to an excursion where there is an evident risk to the participant's health. We advise visitors to consult their doctor if they have the slightest doubt about whether their health allows a stay in the Yungas.
When is the best time to come?
The Yungas can be visited all year round.
Rainy season: from November to March the subtropical climate is humid. Daytime temperatures are 25-28 degrees and nights are cooler. Rain falls at the end of the day (4-5 pm). We adjust excursion times so you are back before the rain.
Dry season: from May to October the climate is mild. Daytime temperatures are 18-22 degrees and nights are cooler (5-15 degrees).
Coldest period: 15 May to the end of June (15 degrees).
Hottest period: 15 October to 10 November (up to 35-38 degrees).
The lodges have a wood stove in winter and a ceiling fan in summer.
