4. Cancellations and date changes

Cancellations and date changes under the flexible rate follow the scale below, calculated on the total amount of the stay:

Date changes are subject to availability. Refunds are made by the same payment method within 10 business days.

Cancellation by Finca La Fé. If, due to force majeure (extreme weather, road closure, health emergency, etc.), we are unable to provide the stay, the guest may choose between a full refund of the amounts paid or a new date at no extra cost.

5. Check-in and check-out times

Check-in from 2:00 pm and check-out by 10:00 am. For the time being, we cannot welcome guests outside these hours; please plan your journey accordingly.

6. Children

Children are welcome. They remain at all times under the care and responsibility of their parents or accompanying adults, especially near the hot tub, the fire pit, slopes and trails. Minors under 18 are not accepted without a responsible adult.

7. Pets

Pets are not allowed, to protect the wildlife and the peace of the farm’s animals.

8. Solar power and equipment

The lodges run on solar power, in a remote setting. This means:

In extreme weather conditions (for example during a storm), occasional power cuts may occur, which may also affect WiFi access.

Damage to the electrical system caused by the use of unauthorised devices may be charged to the guest.

9. Accessibility

The lodges and their access paths are not adapted for people with reduced mobility or physical disabilities: there are stairs, and the trails are unpaved and sloped. If you have a specific need, please contact us before booking so we can assess together whether the stay is possible.

10. Health and natural environment

Finca La Fé is located in the heart of the subtropical mountain forest (Yungas), far from major medical facilities. Insects, humidity, spring heat and uneven terrain are part of the place.

Health self-declaration. Finca La Fé may ask any guest, before confirming a booking or while it is in force, for a signed self-declaration certifying that their health is compatible with the conditions of the stay described in this section and in section 12. If the requested declaration is not sent within 5 days, Finca La Fé may cancel the booking with a full refund of the amounts paid. Interruption of the stay at the guest’s initiative is governed by section 4 (early departure).

11. Gluten-free food (sin TACC)

Finca La Fé is not a restaurant open to the public: meals are an add-on to the accommodation, reserved exclusively for guests. Therefore, the obligation to offer a gluten-free menu that Law No. 26.588 (as amended by Law No. 27.196) imposes on restaurants, bars and food establishments does not apply to us.

However, upon request at the time of booking, we can prepare some gluten-free meals. Our kitchen is not an exclusively gluten-free space, so we cannot guarantee the complete absence of traces. To reduce the risk of cross-contamination, we do not offer gluten-free bread or baked goods. Guests with coeliac disease are welcome to bring their own certified gluten-free products.

12. Excursions

Due to our location, all proposed routes (trekking, horseback riding) involve changes in elevation, dense vegetation in summer, trails that are sometimes steep or slippery, and the normal presence of insects of the subtropical forest.

The guide may modify, suspend or not start an excursion, or refuse a participant, if they consider that safety conditions are not met. If the suspension is due to reasons beyond the participant’s control, we will offer another date or a refund of the excursion.

13. Conduct and right of admission

Finca La Fé is a place of rest and nature. We reserve the right of admission and stay regarding anyone who disturbs other guests, endangers the safety of people, animals or facilities, causes damage or does not respect these terms or the staff’s instructions. In such cases, we may end the stay: unused nights will not be refunded, without prejudice to any claim for damage caused.

This right is always exercised respectfully and never on discriminatory grounds (Law No. 23.592 and art. 8 bis of Law 24.240).

14. Respect for the natural environment

Finca La Fé is located in the heart of the Yungas forest. To help preserve it, we ask you to:

Failure to follow these rules is governed by section 13.

15. Guest registration and liability

16. Personal data protection

We process your personal data in accordance with Argentine Personal Data Protection Law No. 25.326 and its Regulatory Decree No. 1558/2001.

The data subject has the right to access their personal data free of charge at intervals of no less than six months, unless a legitimate interest is shown, in accordance with article 14, paragraph 3 of Law No. 25.326. The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, as the supervisory authority of Law No. 25.326, is empowered to handle complaints and claims from anyone whose rights are affected by non-compliance with personal data protection rules.

17. Questions, complaints and applicable law

If you have any issue, please message us first on WhatsApp: we will look for a quick solution.

As a consumer, you may also file a complaint with the Dirección Provincial de Defensa del Consumidor de Jujuy (Consumo Protegido Jujuy) or with the national authority (Defensa de las y los consumidores).

These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. The ordinary courts of the Province of Jujuy have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the rights granted to consumers by Law 24.240. In case of discrepancy between translated versions, the Spanish version prevails.
